I cannot find a specific ad. Why?

€200 Price Filter

Whenever applicable, Legentic applies a price filter of 200 euros for non-vehicles categories, including Bicycles and Trailers.

Ads Older Than 5 Years

Legentic no longer stores old ads with items offered for sale more than 5 years ago. This may be the reason why certain ads are no longer appearing.

Categories We Crawl

The categories of data we crawl are not global. For example, in some countries, we only crawl certain categories, such as vehicles in Great Britain, Ireland, Italy and some others. Please contact support@legentic.com if you would like more details.

High Volume of Incoming Data

During periods of high incoming ad volume, which can increase suddenly, some ads may fall outside our crawling limits while we make manual adjustments to keep up with the posting speed.

Data Blocking

Some sources are aggressive blockers, and while we use the one most advanced unblocking available, we still get blocked occasionally, and it takes some time to fix them, resulting in data loss from a certain period.

Wrong Country Crawling Issues 

Occasionally, some items may appear in the wrong country because of crawling issues. We recommend selecting “All countries” when searching items to ensure accurate results.

Even Machines Need a Break

Even though we use machines, we use them in a way that they act like humans, and humans sometimes take naps. So, if an ad is published and removed within 10 minutes, it's a big chance we missed it. 

Please note: 

Legentic doesn't store images for items priced under 50 euros, and we only download up to 50 images per ad.

Many sources (mainly dealerships) quite often post ads without images and add them later on. Due to the technical limitation, we may index such ads without images even when images are available online.
