1. More countries added to the Valuate module
The Valuate module is now available for all countries where we have open source information. And as an added bonus the module is enabled for all Legentic users at least till the end of 2024.
The valuate module allows you to search for the market value of vehicles in a specific market. This allows you to quickly gain insight in price developments to look for the current or historic value of an object.
2. The Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system has been upgraded to a new and improved version
Within the Investigate module we had ALPR capabilities for a selected number of countries. We upgraded this system for better Licence Plate extraction from images and cover more countries. Now all countries are covered by the ALPR algorithm and the first five images of every advertisement are scanned for the availability of a license plate.
The Fiat 500 in the image above is the first advertisement scanned with the new ALPR module. Below an image on how the algorithm "finds" plates on images and next stored these in text to be found within the Legentic Platform.
3. Evidence monitoring searches have been improved
Within the Evidence module the user already had the option to store data so the platform can automatically check for the occurrences of these identifiers in new advertisements. With the May update the automated searches have been improved to make use of the advanced search mechanism. This means that the entered plate, VIN, email address and/or phone number searches will be optimised to get as many relevant results as possible.
4. Expandable menu
The Menu in the Legentic platform also underwent a transformation. Meaning that the menu can now be expanded as well to read the module name instead of just showing the icons. This will
5. Phone searches improvements
We are constantly working on improvements of the advanced search operators. In this case the Phone searches have been improved to handle more "variations of notation" to cover the international standard.
For instance +31123456789 is the format for the Netherlands but alternatively there can also be 0123456789 or 01234-56789 or 0031 (0) 123456789, etc. We try to cover as much of these variations and made improvements to the searches.
