We listened to your feedback and focused on improvements to our primary search module.
The new Investigate was redesigned and improved to help you get more out of your searches, we have built more intuitive filtering, search operators and controls for you to find the advertisements that you are looking for.

1. Advanced search operators
We are launching a new set of operators to refine your searches. You can use these to narrow down results.
When searching for a specific field, try using the following prefixes:
Search for a license plate: Enter plate: before the license plate, For example [plate:123ABC].
Search for a VIN: Enter vin: before the VIN, For example [vin:4Y1SL65848Z411439].
Search for an email address: Enter email: before the email address, For example [email:John.doe@gmail.com].
Search for an phone number: Enter phone: before the phone number, For example [phone:1234123412].
Search for an image or file: Enter filename: before the file name, For example [filename:Volvo_1234.jpg].
2. Interface Improvements
We recently launched a clean new update for Investigate. Apart from modernizing the look, this also improved readability and generally made it easier on the eyes.
We improved the colours, accessibility and contrasts levels of elements on the interface, allowing you to read information and browse data in a smoother experience. The new filtering chips blends in perfectly with this redesign. This ensures you’ll have the most important information readily available to support your investigations.
3. Updated filtering system
We recently redesigned the filtering system for refining your searches. These give a more modern look and feel to interact with filters.
4. Tool tips
Need more tools for your search? Check out some of our advanced operators and best practices for searching.
If you ever need some assistance understanding the best practices of how to do searches, you will find a handy pop-up that you can learn the basics from, you dont need to dig through comprehensive knowledge bases.
4. Bug fixes
We recently received reports about issues with unavailable images. Amongst multiple small bugs, we have focused on the image issues these last weeks.
- Resolved a bug that was causing images to be shown in the downloaded PDF, but not in the interface.
- Resolved issues that some users were experiencing downloading PDFs.
- Resolved an issue with "null" prices in advertisements.
- Implemented an image fall-back to show available images from original location when images are not able to be stored.
- Resolved an issue that some users were experiencing with missing prices in data.
- Resolved a number of reported HTTP response errors.
- Multiple other small issues have been resolved.
