User management for Company Administrators, updated PDF exports, delete cases and new search operator.
To kick off the year, we are adding a few much-needed features to existing modules.
We listened to your feedback and focused on improvements to our user administration and document exporting features.
What’s included?
The update includes some new and some improved features.
- Multiple document exports
- User management features
- Evidence updates
- Exclude search operator
1. Multiple document exports
You can now select multiple documents and export simultaneously from Investigate.
Start by selecting the advertisements that you are interested in via a checkbox on the bottom right corner. After a card is selected, you will see that the menu above appears that will allow you to generate and export multiple PDFs simultaneously.
For the moment, we have found a balance of 10 documents per export to not slow you down with long waiting times.
2. User management features
We received feedback from admin users that they were somewhat limited in their capabilities to manage the users. To help with this, we have now added a few new feature to the Company Administrator accounts that allow easier maintenance of users in the platform.
Administrators can now block or deactivate user accounts.
Later it will also be possible to promote other users to the Company Admin role. The Deletion of users will also be added later as this had consequences for the cases created in the Evidence module.
3. Evidence updates
Now the user can delete his or her case from the case overview screen in the Evidence module. This will allow the owner to remove cases that are no longer relevant and do not want to get monitoring updates on fields listed in the case.
By pressing the three dots in the case overview screen the option to delete a case appears.
Next to deleting a case the Case owner now also have the option to delete attachments in a case. This will remove previously stored advertisements in the case itself.
4. Exclude search operator
During investigations it is also essential to limit the result set by excluding words from occurring in the results. We have made this available with the launch of the exclude search operator "-".
The exclude operator will allow the user to define more complex search queries. An example can be that a user wants to see the results of all Volkswagens offered in a certain time period but exclude the Polo model. This would result in the query: volkswagen -polo
