Understanding Data Sources
Scout collects and indexes publicly available information from hundreds of online marketplaces and classified advertisement sources.
The data is collected, organized, and enriched to make it searchable from a single platform.
Why Does Information Vary?
Each source provides different levels of information. Some advertisements contain:
-
Images
-
Contact details
-
Seller information
-
Detailed descriptions
Others may contain only limited metadata.
As a result, the amount of information available for each result may vary.
Data Availability
Scout can only display information that was available when the advertisement was collected.
If information was not published by the original source, it may not be available within the platform.
