Using Search Filters
Search filters help you narrow down your results and reduce false positives.
Filters are available below the search bar on the results page and can be used directly with a first search or after a search is performed, in order to narrow down the result list and reach the most important information easier.
Available Filters
Scout currently supports filtering by:
-
Country
-
Date
-
Price
-
Category
Applied filters appear below the search bar and can be removed individually at any time.
Why Use Filters?
Filters help focus your investigation by limiting results to the most relevant records. Examples:
-
Restrict results to a specific country.
-
Focus on a particular time period.
-
Limit results to a price range.
-
Search within a specific category of objects.
Best Practice
Start with a broad search and gradually apply filters to narrow down the results. Applying too many filters at the beginning may exclude relevant matches.
