Using an interactive map interface, Locate is a useful module that assists users in finding classified ads. It lets you access comprehensive details about each listing, search for specific items or vehicles, and see where they are located on a map.
Navigate to the Locate module's main page to start using it. There will be a search bar and a drop-down list where you can specify the kind of vehicle or item you're looking for and choose the location.
Performing a Search

Enter the item or vehicle
- Press ENTER or click on the magnifying glass icon
Upon performing the search, the module will display a map centered around the selected location with markers indicating the positions of the classified ads along with a tab on the right side showing relevant details.
Interacting with the Map
- Markers: Each marker on the map represents a classified ad. Clicking on a marker will show a preview of the ad.
- Zoom controls: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on top left side or scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the map for a closer or wider view.
- Clicking on an ad: Clicking on a marker's preview or selecting an ad from the list will open up a detailed page where you can access all the information available for that specific ad, download it as PDF file, or attach it to an Evidence case.
Tips and Tricks
Refine your search results by clicking on "Filters", where you can apply filters based on date and price.
Clicking on values (i.e. VIN) available in the listing will start a new search.
Explore nearby areas: drag the map to explore ads in nearby regions.
Select a new location by utilizing the drop-down list to choose a different area.
