Legentic Data API

The Legentic Data API allows you to connect Legentic’s investigative data platform directly to your existing business systems and workflows. Instead of manually searching through the Legentic Scout interface, you can automatically query Legentic’s extensive database through the API.

Simply send a search query — such as a license plate number, VIN, phone number, name, or other identifiers — and the API will return:

• The number of matching records found

• Documents and data related to each match

• A direct link to view the results in the Legentic Platform

This makes it easy for investigators, insurance fraud analysts, and other business users to quickly determine whether relevant data exists and access detailed records immediately.

Configuration and Getting Started

The Data API must first be enabled by the Legentic team. If you would like access, please contact support@legentic.com to have the API activated for your company.

Once enabled, you can configure the API from the Integrations tab in the Legentic Platform.
